Squishmallows, Crafts, and Christmas Cheer at the Columbia Dwell Holiday Popup

Thanks to the generosity of our donors, Dwell served 10 families and 35 children with over 140 items. From brand-new toys to hygiene products and, of course, the ever-popular Squishmallows, these gifts will make Christmas morning special for so many families.

The holiday fun didn’t stop there, families enjoyed donuts and hot chocolate, while kids got creative at the Christmas craft table.

Huge shoutout to our rock star volunteers: Stella, Lisa, Blessing, Julius, and Billie Jo—thank you for your Christmas cheer, smiles, and helpful hands! Also, we want to extend a heartfelt thank you to these incredible groups and organizations who collected and donated toys:

  • Diversified Technologies

  • The Residents Auxiliary Group of Danville

  • First English Baptist Church

  • Sara Hamilton of Century 21 Covered Bridges Realty Inc

  • Lightstreet United Methodist Church

  • St. Luke’s Lutheran Church

  • Christ Wesleyan Church

Your generosity brought so much joy, and showed these families that they are deeply cared for.

Thank you to everyone who participated, donated, or volunteered, thank you for helping us make this Holiday Pop-Up a success!

From all of us at Dwell, Happy Holidays and a Merry Christmas!
