Come together with people who “get it”
Parent care groups are designed to provide a space for support, education, and understanding so that you have the tools and capacity to love your kids well.
Open to foster, adoptive, and kinship caregivers in all stages of the journey, care group gatherings are casual and confidential.
Moms Group
Moms Care Group allows for candid discussions aimed at empowering and encouraging your parenting. Whether you come to the table with a specific challenge, or simply wish to be in a community with other moms who share your experience, you are welcome.
Both offerings are always open to all foster/adoptive/kinship mamas - regardless of location!
Dads Group
New in 2021, the goal of Dads Group is to build camaraderie and connect you with men who are navigating a similar experience. Here, you’ll find support while navigating foster/adoptive parenting, guidance through the gospel, and connection with other like-minded fathers.
When we meet
First Thursday of the month: 7 pm-9 pm (sometimes in person, sometimes over zoom)
Post-Adoption Support Group
The Post-Adoption Support Group provides a welcoming space for adoptive families to connect, share experiences, and find encouragement. Each meeting includes a shared meal, followed by breakout groups for parents, teens, and kids, offering age-appropriate support and discussion. Whether you’re looking for guidance, friendship, or a community that understands, this group is here for you!
When we meet
Fourth Tuesday of every month from 6-8pm
50 Brookpark Circle, Lewisburg
We also encourage you to lean in and join us in fostering this community of parents on Facebook!
