Meet the Kersey Family

We are Christa and Matthew Kersey!

After 17 years of marriage and 4 children, God led us to foster a child whose mother was incarcerated. 

Our original intention was reunification, though we were open to the possibility of adoption.

Two years later, it was clear that was going to be part of our story.

We didn’t know how long the process would take or what the cost would be but we trusted God and began our journey. 

Shortly after the adoption was finalized, we received a grant from Dwell that covered the entire cost of the adoption. 

Our budget had been tight for quite some time and the grant relieved so much financial stress.

We really felt that was God working through Dwell to confirm our decision to adopt, and we are so incredibly blessed to have Dwell along with us on our journey.
