A is for Attachment

Attachment is one of the most important and impactful aspects of parenting - especially in adoption.

Whether adopted at birth or brought into a family as an older child, children who have been adopted need to be given the tools, resources, and care that help them build and foster healthy attachment with their family and caregivers. By keeping circles small, investing in quality time, practicing healthy touch, and exhibiting unconditional love, children begin to build trust and attachment bonds with their family.
